November: The Roots Issue
The November issue is on the installment plan. A portion of the articles are now complete and posted. The others will become available soon!
JUST ADDED: Greg Brown and Pieta Brown!

November is our Roots Issue. We’ve got Roots music like the folkies Greg Brown, Ellis Paul, and David Wilcox. We’re also going back to the Roots with a look back at Wall of Voodoo and Natalie Merchant. Plus, then there are artists like the Redwalls and De Novo Dahl whose musical roots are showing.
November is also the launch of the new Music Spectrum Giveaway Closet. Instead of the old contest format, now anytime you want to send $1.50 in stamps (or equivalent), you can score free CDs from the Giveaway Closet. I’ll try to match up your free CDs with your interest in music, and watch for reviews to mention when extra copies are available. See the Sidebar for more info.
As always, to get an email alert when the new reviews are posted, sign up for the email newsletter by sending an email to me with the word, “SUBSCRIBE,” in the subject line.
